Are you passionate about bamboo architecture? Dive deep into the world of sustainable design with our 5-day intensive residential workshop located in Ikigai Village, Baburdi, just 20 km from Dound.
This hands-on learning experience is tailored for bamboo enthusiasts, engineers, architects, designers, DIY enthusiasts, and students alike.
Participants will embark on a journey of discovery, exploring the design and construction of a beautiful and functional bamboo grid shell structure.
Throughout the workshop, attendees will engage in various activities, including designing through model making for long-span structures, learning joining techniques and fabrication processes specific to bamboo structures, and even building a 1:1 scale structure.
Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to learn about Clotherete as a roofing material and experience the power of collaboration and teamwork in the building process.
The workshop fee of ₹19,500 includes all materials required for the structure, three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, high tea & dinner), transportation assistance for daily site visits, and accommodation in twin sharing for five days and four nights.
