In a recent press statement, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that its power transmission and distribution company had reached vital milestones for the power elements and grid pack packages of NEOM Green Hydrogen Company’s world’s largest green hydrogen plant.
NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is an equal partnership between ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM in Oxagon, Saudi Arabia.
NGHC is investing $8.4 billion to build a mega plant to export green ammonia from green hydrogen backed by local, regional, and international institutions. L&T will engineer, procure, and create a 2.2 GW PV solar plant, 1.65 GW wind generation balance of plant, and 400 MWh battery energy storage system under the power elements package.
