Billionaires Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani intend to construct 25GW of clean energy in Andhra Pradesh

The billionaire businessmen Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani have announced plans to build a combined 25 gigawatts of renewable energy in Andhra Pradesh as the fossil fuel-driven organizations press ahead with their green energy objectives.

At an investors’ gathering last week, Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance Industries would construct 10 gigawatts of solar electricity in the state. Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone CEO Karan Adani stated that his company is dedicated to creating 15 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity across five districts over the next few years.

The Reliance and Adani firms already have a sizable presence in the state. The former manages two sizable ports and the latter operates its offshore deep-sea gas assets in the Krishna-Godavari basin.
