The 130 MW Kutchh Wind Power Plant was commissioned by Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Five Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL). SECI has a 25-year power purchase agreement with the facility for 130 MW at Rs. 2.83 per kWh.
The Adani Group’s intelligent “Energy Network Operation Centre” (ENOC) platform, which has helped AGEL achieve a superior operational performance of its entire renewable portfolio across diverse locations in India, will manage the newly commissioned plant.
According to a company statement, with the successful commissioning of this plant, AGEL’s operational wind generation capacity has increased to 1,101 MW, and the total functional renewable generation capacity has grown to 8,216 MW which puts AGEL’s entire renewable portfolio well on track to reach its vision of 45 GW capacity by 2030.
