Our Subject Matter Expert
Spandan is an ESG and sustainability consultant and a value chain management expert with 13+ years of international work experience, having worked with KPMG in London and Dublin and EY in India. He has worked with leading global multinational companies in diverse industry sectors, including FMCG, Manufacturing, Insurance, Banking, Capital Goods, Pharmaceuticals, and Energy.
Spandan has completed his MBA from Imperial College London, where he studied strategy, climate change, and sustainability.
Through his venture GreenAlytics, Spandan advises companies on end-to-end ESG aspects, including strategy, carbon footprint assessments, developing ESG-focused policies and governance structures, ESG reporting, training & capacity building, and support with wider sustainable business transformations. He has worked with large listed companies in India and various UK-based organizations on ESG engagements. Most recently, Spandan has worked as an interim in-house ESG lead for a £2 billion UK-based pension fund.
Spandan engages with various leading Tier-2 Indian accounting firms, such as C M Shah (part of Crowe Global network), Bathiya LLP, and K C Mehta, as a subject matter expert in the ESG/sustainability domain.

Spandan’s commitment to the ESG and sustainability field extends beyond his consulting work. He is a prolific author of thought-leadership articles on ESG and sustainability, a testament to his deep understanding and passion for the subject. His dedication to knowledge sharing is further demonstrated through his regular sessions on ESG topics at various forums in India and his role as a guest lecturer at Imperial College London.
Spandan’s contributions also extend to the academic sphere, where he has previously developed content for an ESG course launched by a college at Delhi University, inspiring the audience with his passion and commitment to the ESG and sustainability field.
Outside of work, Spandan is involved in various non-profit and impact-focused initiatives. Since 2013, he has been a volunteer with an Ahmedabad-based NGO that provides education to less-privileged kids. Between August 2019 and January 2024, he also served as a Trustee/Director at AIESEC UK, a charity organization in the UK.
