2. The course is linearly modelled. Access to successive modules is dependent on completion of the previous module in entirety.
3. Certification is subject to scoring at least 50% in aggregate including the Capstone project.
4. Course fees so paid is non refundable.
5. Failure to meet any of the above conditions/requirements will result in cancellation of the course
registration/withholding/ denial of the completion certificate.
To impart the student with the skill to:
- Infer the importance of carbon accounting as a tool for dealing with the climate crisis.
- Outline the framework of carbon accounting and carbon sink estimation.
- Construct a carbon accounting tool appropriate to a given situation.
- Determine the baseline GHG emissions profile and the way forward towards low carbon/zero carbon operation.
By the module’s end, participants will possess a profound awareness of the environmental and health implications of improper waste disposal. They will have acquired the knowledge and entrepreneurial insights to identify and capitalize on prospects in waste management and finally, participants will be adept at applying solid waste management principles in real-world scenarios.Â
